GhostJam Games is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for everyone. This Code of Conduct applies to all GhostJam Games community spaces, including our games, Discord server, social media channels, forums, and any other official platforms.

By participating in any GhostJam Games community, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct. Violations may result in warnings, mutes, bans, or other actions at our sole discretion.

Be Respectful

  • Treat everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of their background, experience level, identity, or opinions.
  • Disagreements are fine — personal attacks are not. Critique ideas, not people.
  • Be patient with new community members and help them feel welcome.

Be Inclusive

  • We do not tolerate harassment, hate speech, slurs, or discrimination of any kind, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or nationality.
  • Avoid language or behavior that makes others feel unwelcome or unsafe.
  • Respect people’s pronouns and identities.

Keep It Clean

  • No pornographic, sexually explicit, excessively violent, or otherwise disturbing content.
  • No spam, self-promotion, or unsolicited advertising.
  • Keep conversations relevant to the channel or topic.

Play Fair

  • Do not cheat, exploit bugs, hack, or use unauthorized third-party tools in our games.
  • Report bugs and exploits through the proper channels rather than abusing them.
  • Do not grief, troll, or intentionally ruin the experience for other players.

Respect Privacy

  • Do not share other people’s personal information without their consent.
  • Do not record or share private conversations without permission.
  • Do not impersonate other community members, moderators, or GhostJam Games staff.

Respect Intellectual Property

  • Do not share pirated content or encourage piracy.
  • Respect the intellectual property of GhostJam Games and other creators. See our Intellectual Property page for usage guidelines.

Reporting

If you experience or witness a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to us. You can:

  • Use the reporting tools available on the platform (e.g., Discord’s built-in reporting)
  • Contact our moderation team directly on Discord
  • Email us at legal@ghostjam.com

All reports will be reviewed and handled confidentially. We will not retaliate against anyone who reports a violation in good faith.

Enforcement

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:

  1. Warning — a private notice explaining the violation
  2. Mute — temporary restriction from posting or chatting
  3. Kick — removal from the community space
  4. Ban — permanent removal from one or more GhostJam Games community spaces

The severity of the response is at the sole discretion of GhostJam Games and its moderation team. We reserve the right to remove anyone from our community spaces at any time, for any reason.

Serious or repeated violations may also result in action under our Terms of Service, including termination of access to the Service.

Changes

We may update this Code of Conduct from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
