We love seeing our community create content around our games. Whether you’re streaming, making YouTube videos, creating fan art, or writing about our games, we want to make it easy for you to do so. These guidelines explain what’s allowed, what needs permission, and what isn’t okay.
These guidelines apply to all GhostJam Games titles, including but not limited to Hue Hop, Beam Bound, Backseat Drivers, and Dread Harvest.
Streaming & Video Content
You are free to:
- Stream any of our games on any platform (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, etc.)
- Record and upload gameplay videos, Let’s Plays, walkthroughs, tutorials, reviews, and reaction videos
- Include our games in compilations, highlights, or montage videos
- Monetize your videos and streams through platform ad revenue, subscriptions, donations, and sponsorships
- Use our game audio, music, and sound effects as they naturally appear in gameplay footage
You do not need our permission to do any of the above.
Fan Art & Creative Works
You are free to:
- Create and share fan art, illustrations, comics, animations, cosplay, and other creative works inspired by our games
- Post fan creations on social media, personal websites, portfolios, and art platforms
Monetization of fan art: You may sell limited quantities of original fan art (prints, commissions, handmade items) as an individual creator. Mass production or commercial-scale manufacturing of products featuring our IP requires written permission.
Screenshots & Media
You are free to:
- Take and share screenshots from our games
- Use screenshots and gameplay footage in articles, blog posts, reviews, and social media
- Use our logos in thumbnails, video overlays, and articles when referencing our games, provided they are not modified beyond reasonable resizing

What Requires Written Permission
The following uses of our IP require prior written approval from GhostJam Games:
- Commercial products (merchandise, apparel, accessories, etc.) produced at scale
- Use of our IP in other games, software, or applications
- Any use that implies official sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement by GhostJam Games
- NFTs, blockchain-based works, or similar digital assets incorporating our IP

What Is Not Allowed
- Content that is hateful, discriminatory, pornographic, or that violates our Code of Conduct
- Distributing or encouraging piracy of our games or assets
- Extracting and redistributing our game assets (models, textures, audio, source code) outside of gameplay footage or fan art context
- Misrepresenting your content as official GhostJam Games content
- Registering domain names, social media accounts, or trademarks that are confusingly similar to ours
- Using our IP after we have revoked permission
Attribution
While not strictly required, we appreciate credit when you use our content. A simple mention like “Game by GhostJam Games” or a link to the game’s page goes a long way.
Revocation
GhostJam Games reserves the right to revoke permission granted under these guidelines at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion. If we contact you about a specific use of our IP, please respond promptly.
Relationship to Other Policies
These guidelines supplement our Intellectual Property page and the trademark and copyright provisions in our Terms of Service (Section 11). In the event of a conflict, the Terms of Service take precedence.
