What Volunteering Looks Like
This isn’t about making games for free — we hire for that. Volunteering with GhostJam is about helping the community thrive. Think less “unpaid internship” and more “helping out because you’re into it.”
Where We Could Use a Hand
- Discord moderation. Keeping conversations on track, welcoming new members, and helping enforce our community guidelines.
- Content writing. Blog posts, community recaps, event write-ups — if you like writing about games, there’s always something to cover.
- Event coordination. Helping organize community game nights, watch parties, or other events on Discord.
- Localization. Translating community content, announcements, or social posts for non-English audiences.
- Social media. Helping us stay active and engaged across platforms.
What We Don’t Ask Volunteers To Do
Volunteering is strictly community-focused. Game development, art, code, and design are paid roles — that’s not what this is.
What You Get
- A say in how the community grows
- Early access to news and announcements
- A direct line to the team
- Our genuine appreciation (and credit where it’s due)
